Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to get my doors?
Most orders ship within 14 days of quote approval. Larger projects (over 50 doors) are scheduled when you approve the quote — we'll confirm the timeline in writing before production starts.
Do I need a minimum order?
No minimum. We're happy to build a single replacement door or a whole kitchen. Per-piece pricing has a 1.5 sq ft minimum, so very small doors are billed at the minimum.
What wood species do you offer?
Hard Maple, Soft Maple (Paint Grade), White Oak (Plain Sawn / Rift Sawn / Quarter Sawn), Red Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Alder, Knotty Alder, Hickory, Knotty Hickory, Sapele, and Ash. For paint-grade work we also offer 1/4", 3/8", and 5/8" MDF, plus 1/4" Veneered MDF.
Do you finish the doors?
We offer factory priming on MDF doors (front, back, or both sides). For stain-grade and full-finish work, we partner with a local finishing shop on request — ask when you submit your quote.
Can I order doors for an existing kitchen?
Yes. Build the configuration in our builder using the same wood, profile, and stile width as your existing doors. If you're not sure of the spec, send us a photo of an existing door and we'll help you match it.
What about glass doors?
We build doors notched for glass — you supply the glass and installer. In the builder, check the "Notched for Glass" box on the line item. The door is priced as a frame only (P1 base, plus normal surcharges).
Do you ship?
Yes. We crate and ship anywhere in the continental U.S. via standard freight. Shipping is quoted separately and depends on the order size and destination. Local pickup is always free.
How does pricing work?
Every line item is priced individually using a base rate per square foot (varies by panel × material), plus surcharges for non-standard stiles, stain grade, primed panel, decorative inside and outside edges. Wood markup applies to the base rate. We show you the full breakdown before you approve.
Can I edit a quote after I submit it?
Yes. While a quote is still in "Quote Requested" status, you can re-open it in the builder and edit. Once we send back pricing ("Quote Ready"), the configuration is locked. Approval is final.
What's a draft?
A draft is a saved configuration that you haven't submitted yet. Click "Save as Draft" in the builder to come back to it later. Drafts are private — admins don't see them until you submit.
